this is awesome! i was watching a show called Joni and friends on sky angel (christian cable) and there was this woman (Joni) and she has people on the show who are in wheel chairs, have cancer, etc… and still know that God still has plans for them…and the cancer or the wheel chair is part of their plans…..one guy is a pastor he got cancer and was wheel chair bound….his hands couldnt function to write anymore…his speech was difficult to muster at times….his breathing was affected….different things…but, still he had Hope and new that God had it all under control…so, he had to be a bit more creative when it came to preparing for his sermons ….but, he kept on preaching….even if it were only once a month…..everyone sees HOPE in him…and sees God working in his life…they dont feel like he is helpless….and just feel plain sorry for him….God shook his life up a bit….but, it was all to prosper him and to give him hope and a future ..not to harm him.
he is reaching so many people …even though he is now wheel chair bound….he didnt give up…
this was my first time watching this show…i just got sky angel the other day…and i love it…i dont like cable and alot of the channels that they provide…i do like hallmark…and some of the shows that help you to make over your own home….decorate and such…and sky angel has those…plus alot more awesome shows…and to get the entire package its only 24.99 a month…and you get the equipment for free if you sign up for 18 months…..i sound like a commercial…i know…and soon i may be selling it to make a little extra cash…..but, more importantly hopefully will reach many people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ….
he has changed my whole life! the way i feel , the way i think, the things that i do…..and hes not done with me yet…
he is working on the way i look, and feel right now…thats why i know that i can lose this weight…because through him i can do anything! All things are possible….with God !
I can do anything through Christ who gives me strength!
im off to work my butt..off…i will not end this week..without a change in the scale for the good!!

WOW! That was so inspirational April and definitely what I needed to read with me and hubby spliting and everything else…thanks for the words of encouragement and the fact that he does have a plan for me!!!!

IM SORRY THAT YOUR SPLITTING..UNLESS THATS WHATS BEST FOR YOU BOTH…MY HUSBAND AND I TOLD EACHOTHER THAT WE WERE IN IT UNTIL DEATH DO US PART…AND WE MEANT IT…IF WE WERENT SUCCESSFUL AT KILLING EACHOTHER THAN WE WOULD HAVE TO PUT UP WITH EACH OTHER FOREVER…BESIDES WE HAVE 3 KIDS AND DECIDED THAT WE WERENT GOING TO RAISE THEM WITH OTHER PEOPLE….THAT WE WERE MOM AND DAD..AND WE WERE GOING TO LIVE AS MOM AND DAD…IT MADE IT SIMPLE FOR US..NOW WE ARE STARTING TO ACTUALLY LOVE EACHOTHER AND GET TO KNOW EACHOTHER….DONT GET ME WRONG WE HAVE ALWAYS LIKED EACHOTHER…ENOUGH TO STAY TOGETHER…BUT, I DONT BELIEVE THAT WE WERE “GODS PLAN A” I BELIEVE THAT WE WERE PLAN B AND I KNOW THAT GOD HAS BLESSED US FOR STAYING TOGETHER….BUT, IF HE WERE ABUSIVE OR SOMETHING I PROBABLY WOULD FIND A PLAN C! BUT, HE IS ALRIGHT…WE ARE GROWING TOGETHER …I MEAN IM 31 AND WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER SINCE I WAS ABOUT 15 OR 16… ANYHOW…IM RAMBLING… I PRAY THAT GOD WILL GUIDE YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND IN THIS DECISION…. AND YES.HE DOES HAVE A PLAN FOR YOU GIRL! AND RIGHT NOW YOUR INSPIRING US…TO LOSE MORE WEIGHT! YOU LOOK AWESOME!
April, I just love this verse. Actually, its one of my very favorites. Thanks for reminding me. Its really what i needed to hear today (see my blog). We can always find hope in our creator. Just look around you. He is everywhere! Sometimes our faith is tested but we shouldn’t forget he is always by our side.
