Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Jeffrey never wanted to put anybody out. Instead of asking for help, he would struggle along on his own. Often, Jeffrey didn’t get anything accomplished because he refused to impose on anyone else. Sometimes, we act that way with God. We ask ourselves why God would be interested in helping us solve our problems. The thing is, God wants us to come to Him with our heartfelt needs. We have been invited to come before the throne of grace, and that includes with our diets. When we’re honest, we’ll admit that we need help, and there is no greater source of help than God.
Today’s thought: Our hope to lose weight becomes reality when we put our trust in God.
i found this today..thought that i would share….i never knew there was a devotional for dieters…but, well there are devotionals for all sorts of individuals…i should have known…
im recommitting myself to God…and to my new lifestyle. im going to stay focused and today is day 2 in my 15 day journey to create a healthier habit of walking atleast for 30 minutes each day…( i know i have done this before…we all have…) and i havent quit since the last time i recommitted just seemed to fizzle a bit. i should have lost more than only 13 pounds by now…some have lost almost 70 in this time period. im jealous..i want those numbers! wow!
and i will get them!
its not impossible….i just have to work harder….and thats okay…it will be totally worth it in the end! im worth it…im worth the hard work..!
i want to feel good..and look better! and that is motivation enough for me. i have made alot of changes so far…
i rarely eat fast food.
i hardly ever drink anything but water or sometimes fat free milk or 100%yummy juice.
i move my butt more. but, need to move it faster!
i still need to get up earlier and go to bed earlier…(this is the hardest for me)
and i need to take vitamins again…
i already eat lots of fruits and veggies daily..and very little processed foods if any.
im doing alot better these days.
watching the saturated fat and trans fat content (this is a biggy!! read up on these fats and you will see why!)
i avoid high fructose corn syrup
i avoid hydrogenated oils
i avoid sugars…
when these 15 days are up…from moving my butt more…i bet you i will weigh atleast 10 pounds less! this is my biggest problem! i gotta get my motivation back….and i do believe that i have….!
lets do this heartbreakers…we are waisting to much time maintaining….when we need to be working harder to reach our goals…we can do this together!!
